Doctor’s Symposium

Our Second Annual Doctor’s Symposium will be held May 10 -11, 2013. This year’s theme is “Putting a Face to Breast Cancer Care in Nigeria: Simplifying the Breast Cancer Diagnosis and Treatment Journey”. Our presenter is Dr. Rajendra A Badwe, Director of the Tata Memorial Hospital Cancer center in Mumbai, India.

Rajendra Badwe, MD, FACS, Surgical Oncologist is the Director of Tata Memorial Center; a premier national comprehensive cancer centre for the prevention, treatment, education and research in India. He was recently awarded the Reach to Recovery International medal (RRI). The International Union Against Cancer (UICC) granted the award to Dr Badwe at the 12th UICC RRI Conference. He is the member of Breast Health Global Initiative. He is one of the most highly regarded surgeons in India and has been practicing medicine for more than 20 years (ZoomInfo, 2013).
