Thursday, June 6, a press conference was hold in the premises of the Sawa Hotel in Douala, moderated by Me Wandjou, Run for a Cure Africa Cameroon Legal Advisor. The following media were present:

- CANAL 2 INTERNATIONAL (TV)
- VISION 4 (TV)
- EQUINOX (TV)
- LA NOUVELLE EXPRESSION (Newspaper)
- CAMEROUN TRIBUNE (newspaper)
- DYNAMIC FM (Radio)
Its purpose was to inform the above mentioned media about the content of the pink week. The following people intervened:
- Madam Bopda Kontchou Virginie, RFCAC President, presented the organization and its purpose.
- Mr Pamphile Nken, Parcours Vita director, exposed on the benefits of sport and its impact on health.
- Madam Mary Wirnkar Mbumenyuy, representative of Cameroon Baptist Convention Health Services (CBCHS partner hospital) announced the dates and location of the campaign and the main role CBCHS plays.
- Doctor Rachel Tayou, oncologist gave a presentation on breast and cervical cancers and tips to follow, in order to reduce the prevalence rate of these diseases.
The conference ended with a question-and-answer session, animated by journalists and the guests.
